Arch in Bloom is also busy planning the upcoming annual Flurry Fest set for Saturday, Dec 6 from 12-6:00pm. The popular event features food, drinks and activities and is becoming a favorite tradition in Greenwich. Derek D’Andrea and his crew have created a winter wonderland that includes Christmas trees in a variety of sizes and types, as well as wreaths and garlands. The incident started after a a State Marshal contacted 911 while attempting to execute an eviction order. Police on Wednesday released the name of the barricaded man who appeared to die from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The city’s Bomb Squad was deployed to render the residence safe before detectives could begin processing the scene. While clearing the home, a second body was discovered on the second floor.
