National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Announces Nearly $12 Million in Grants from LI Sound Futures Fund

The grants will support projects that prevent 618,934 gallons of stormwater and 2,996 pounds of nitrogen pollution from entering the Long Island Sound, remove 161,250 pounds of marine debris , restore 70 acres of coastal habitat, launch new oyster restoration efforts and conserve and enhance habitats for shorebirds, songbirds, diamondback terrapins, native pollinators and other wildlife.
