Author, journalist, and TV host, Jonathan Lemire will discuss his just published book, The Big Lie: Election Chaos, Political Opportunism, and the State of American Politics After 2020. In this thorough and well documented account Lemire not only traces the origins of the “Big Lie”—Trump’s insistence that the 2020 presidential election was rigged-–but explore show the constellation of Trump lies has shaped our current politics.He will speak on the pervasiveness of these fabrications and falsehoods and why such a sizable percentage of the American public is willing to believe them.
