Local author Nancy Thode, longtime Greenwich resident now residing in Stamford, has recently been awarded a 2026 Silver IPPY Award in the annual Independent Publisher Book Awards, recognizing excellence in independent and self-published books.

Rose DeVita, 91

To honor Rose’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday, August 24th 4-8:00pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich, 203-869-5968, where a service will take place Tuesday morning at 10:30. Entombment will follow at Putnam Cemetery. The DeVita family would like to thank the staff at Nathaniel Witherell for their loving care of Rose.
