Throughout the day, officers showcased specialized units including the SWAT team, dive team, and the department drone program. Police vehicles and equipment were displayed outside headquarters as children and families had the opportunity to speak directly with officers about their roles and training.
The Riverside Garden Club invites all to join them for a tour of the Colonial Herb Garden and light refreshments. Two Roads Brewery of Stratford has generously volunteered to brew ale using the hops grown at the colonial garden. Come sample what George Washington would have been served at the Knapp’s Tavern during his traverse through Greenwich 250 years ago.
Forty-five members partnered with local nonprofits across Greenwich in a day of hands-on service supporting children, families, and community organizations.

A third Republican candidate for Greenwich First Selectman has emerged. Tod Laudonia is a longtime Greenwich resident and has been a licensed real estate broker since 1980. He served as the Town’s Tax Collector from 2009 to 2017.
