Old Greenwich Merchants are again busy planning for next “Art in the Park” event, which is set for Sunday, June 7 in Binney Park in Old Greenwich from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. (Rain date is Sunday, June 14).

CT State Police Make Arrests in Large Scale Illegal Gambling and Cockfighting Event

State police said that as a result of the search warrant execution, they made 100 in-custody arrests. Investigators seized approximately $90,000 in U.S. currency. The Connecticut Dept of Agriculture located 273 birds on the property of 55 Mountain Spring Rd. All 273 birds were euthanized due their deteriorated conditions.

For more than 110 years, the YMCA of Greenwich has served as a cornerstone of the Greenwich community—responding to evolving needs and ensuring that children, families, and working caregivers have the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive. This summer, the YMCA is expanding its summer camp offerings through a new collaboration with Scouting America Greenwich, allowing YMCA programs to operate at the historic Camp Seton beginning summer 2026.
