Greenwich Train Station Reopens

At the request of Metro-North Railroad, the Greenwich Train Station building reopened to the public at 6:00am on Thursday, June 11.

Metro-North will have staff available to assist commuters from 6:00am to 2:30pm on Thursday.

“As more businesses and public facilities such as the Greenwich train station reopen, it is imperative that we continue to maintain social distancing as much as possible. When that it isn’t possible, face masks should be worn,” said First Selectman Fred Camillo on a release Wednesday night.

Per Metro-North, there will be expanded service reflecting an increase from the hourly-plus schedule that went into effect on May 27:

New Haven Line Outbound:
New train departs Grand Central Terminal at 5:30 p.m., stops at Harlem-125th Street, Rye, then all stops to Stamford, arrives at 6:35 p.m.

At Metro-North, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We look forward to a gradual return to service.
