One of the last shore colonials in Old Greenwich has been noticed for demolition with the Town of Greenwich building department.
The house at 60 Binney Lane, known as “Crags,” dates back to 1895.
Located in the sought after Binney Lane private community, the property is .26 acres in the R12 single family zone.
The classic beach house has views of Long Island Sound, two exclusive water access points, a private kayak launch, and rights to a local beach and dock.

The property sold on May 17, 2022 from The Susan Olivier Revocable Trust and The Michael J Geraghty Revocable Trust to Philip Dileo for $3,109,500.
Per the demolition paperwork, the owners are Philip & Chloe Dileo, and the permit application wiled by Milos & Pratz, 49 Shore Road, Old Greenwich.

Because the house dates to prior to 1940, any objection to the demolition filed in writing with the DPW Division of Buildings within 45 days will double the demolition waiting period for established by Town ordinance to 90 days.
The initial 45-day waiting period started on July 17, 2026 and ends on August 30, 2026.
The first day the permit will be eligible for issuance is August 31, 2026.
