Eugene (Gene) McEvoy passed away peacefully Sunday evening, after a lengthy battle with dementia. He was born in Port Chester, NY on July 22, 1932 the son of Eugene and Katherine Metrusky McEvoy. He spent his whole life in the Byram area of Greenwich. As a young boy he learned the art of fishing from his Uncle Buster which left him with a lifelong love for fishing which he passed onto his own children and some of their friends.
