On Aug 23, people walking their dog notified police there was a man who appeared to be asleep sitting in a car in the parking lot across from the Famous Greek Kitchen at 10 North Water Street in Byram. Captain Mark Zuccerella said when Officers arrived to check on the man’s welfare, they found him to be deceased.
On Monday, Lt Martin O’Reilly said the man has been identified as Brian T. O’Neill, 36, from New Rochelle NY.
O’Reilly said there was nothing suspicious at this time and Mr. O’Neill’s death remains under investigation.
According to his obituary O’Neill had an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and was self-employed as a mechanic.
