If you’re looking for a way to help all these animals searching for loving homes, but cannot bring a new pet into your home at this time, the simple act of buying a gift or a treat for yourself will make a difference.
Sophia’s and Adopt A Dog both celebrate their 35th anniversaries this year!
Established in 1981, Sophia’s named after Sophia Scarpelli, lifelong Greenwich resident, remains an independently owned one-of-a-kind destination for gifts, jewelry and consignments.
While Greenwich Ave has lost many of its family businesses, Sophia’s is unique.
She is planning to expand her famous costume rental collection – she has 5,000+ in inventory by eliminating the racks of vintage clothing upstairs with a mega sale that continues.
In central Greenwich, Sophia whose shop bears her name, is a rare breed. Having graduated from Greenwich High School in 1977, she is a familiar face to many.
Those who don’t know her may recognize her over-the-top costumes that grace the red carpet every year during Fashion to the Ave.
