Recently opened just over the state line in Port Chester, CLAY Health Club + Spa is is offering charter memberships, but only until mid-January.
Charter memberships feature preferred rates locked in for the duration of the membership. Dues currently $150 per month, or $1,650 for annual membership, will move to $180 per month or $1,980 annually after Jan. 15.
To assure personalized service and attention to detail, CLAY Health Club + Spa plans to cap its membership.
With its integrated approach, CLAY allows members to participate in everything from personal training and private Pilates, to nutritional guidance sessions and recuperative spa therapies, all under one roof.
CLAY describes its offerings as “a welcome departure from the health club norm.” With 25,000 sq ft, the facility features a double-sided glass fireplace, abundant natural light, a wall of windows overlooking the Byram River, roof deck and member lounge, full service natural café, concierge service, amenities from Malin + Goetz, indoor valet parking and a full, state of the art health club.
Additionally, the club features a full service spa and five dedicated training studios including: Group Fitness, Spin, Yoga, Reformer Pilates and a Golf Studio with GEARS 3 dimensional swing analysis.
For Greenwich residents work in Manhattan, where CLAY has its original location near Union Square, it is possible to have a dual membership.
On a tour of the facility, the list of special touches features a “Mother’s room,” where a little privacy comes in the form of a comfy upholstered chair and private phone.
Upstairs, a row of tatami mats lines a wall of picture windows overlooking the Byram River and its canopy of trees.
At the top of the stairs an organic café flanks a rooftop sundeck, where members can enjoy breakfast or lunch.
