Green & Tonic, the health-focused cafe that makes clean eating simple and delicious, is expanding with a new location in Greenwich. Located in the Glenville Shopping Center, the store will open Monday, April 7. In celebration, Green & Tonic Glenville will offer $1 iced and hot drinks all day on opening day.
In addition, Green & Tonic is partnering with Abilis – the Glenville-based nonprofit organization that supports more than 800 individuals with disabilities and their families from birth through their lives in lower Fairfield County. Green & Tonic will offer complimentary flower bouquets from Abilis Gardens & Gifts and a complimentary Green & Tonic tote bag to the first 50 guests beginning at 10am.
Green & Tonic was established in 2012 in Darien, CT and has grown across Fairfield & Westchester counties, with the Glenville opening marking its 8th location. The brand recently opened a location in Stamford, and will open a location in Old Greenwich this spring as well.
Green & Tonic offers a thoughtfully curated menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, from smoothies and salads to grab-and-go meals and nutrient-rich snacks. Signature offerings include Supr Brew Coffee, a single-origin coffee organically grown and harvested in Colombia, and SWIRL, dairy-free soft serve ice cream. The Greenwich location will feature a Salad Station, where guests can customize a salad in a convenient on-the-go shaker or bowl. Also available at Green & Tonic Glenville are Meal Boxes, a customizable way to create 2-5 days worth of meals and snacks, easily packaged and ready to pick up. Green & Tonic continues to prioritize ingredients derived from plants, and has recently expanded its offerings to include organic chicken and pasture-raised eggs to meet growing consumer demand. The menu is 100% gluten-free.
The Glenville location will also feature the viral Anna Kaiser Blue Moves Smoothie, a collaboration with fitness icon and celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser. Packed with nutrient-dense superfoods, the smoothie features coconut milk, cashew butter, banana, pineapple, plant-based vanilla protein powder, and blue spirulina and is topped off with a drizzle of coconut cream.
There are also a variety of offerings popular with younger guests. Kid favorites include the AB&J smoothie, the roasted banana bread and the sourdough grilled cheese.
Green & Tonic CEO Fausto Mieres said, “We’re thrilled to open our eighth Green & Tonic location and expand our mission of providing the community with clean, nourishing food that supports a healthier lifestyle. Greenwich has been an incredible home for us and we’re excited to keep growing our footprint in town and across Fairfield County.”
