The Greenwich High School Hand and Paw Club Partners with Outreach to Pets in Need (OPIN)

The Greenwich High School Hand and Paw Club partnered with Outreach to Pets in Need (OPIN) Stamford to give away donations to the greater Stamford community.

On December 11, GHS Hand and Paw Club President and Co-Founder Blair Mulligan joined OPIN Treasurer Jenny Colucci at Stamford St. John’s Episcopal Church’s Outdoor Christmas Village to give away free dog and cat carriers, bowls, leashes and other pet merchandise to the patrons.

The GHS Hand and Paw Club students work to raise awareness and resources for animal shelters and rescue groups. This club’s main activities include educational events, donation drives, animal-related outreach and activism to help animals.

OPIN was co-founded by shelter volunteers and is an all-volunteer registered 501(C)(3) non-profit. OPIN’s mission is to promote adoption of homeless animals, and to provide assistance to pets in need through medical treatment, training, and education.
