Vivian Lynn Lyons Miculcy of Greenwich, CT passed away on April 13, 2023. She was 90 years old.
Lynn was born on October 1, 1932 in Ossining, NY and was the daughter of Paul C. Lyons and Vivian Graves Lyons. Lynn grew up in Cos Cob, CT where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Albert “Buddy” Miculcy on June 6, 1953.
She was a very strong woman whose strength helped her raise her three children alone after her husband’s untimely death in 1972.
She held the role of the family matriarch for over 50 years and her presence and her home were the focal point of family gatherings for decades. She loved a good party and happily welcomed all of her family and friends on a regular basis.
Lynn was always up to some sort of project! Whether it was painting, building or gardening, she was always up for the challenge. She also loved to craft and sew, and passed these skills on to her family. When she wasn’t baking, sewing, building, or gardening, she spent a wonderful 28 years working at Julian Curtiss School in the Media Center, until her retirement in 2001.
Affectionately called “Ga” by her cherished family and friends, she will be greatly missed by all of us.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Belmonte (Mike), sons, Mark (Monique) and Jim as well as 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather on Tuesday, April 18 from 4:00-8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, CT.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, April 19 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich.
