Greenwich Rescue Puppies and Kittens Need Homes: Meet Them at Pet Pantry

Screen Shot 2014-05-23 at 11.16.52 AMGreenwich resident Tina Aronson, part of a rescue group called Cat Assistance, rescued a litter of German Shepherd mix puppies and their mother several weeks ago.

The puppies had been born outdoors at their home on Long Island, and Aronson took them all into her home. When the mother was finished nursing the puppies, she was spayed and returned to her owner.

Aronson, with help from fellow Greenwich rescue devotee Keri Ann Hofer, have cared for the puppies until they became old enough to go to forever homes. The puppies certainly  have benefited from their extra time together, socializing with their litter-mates and a constant flow of human visitors. They are vetted, healthy and really cute.

The puppies will be at Pet Pantry for adoption on Saturday, March 24 from 12:30-2:30pm. Aronson will also have kittens at the adoption event on Saturday.

This a great chance to adopt a puppy or kitten AND rescue an animal. Questions about the adoption process and how to apply, or inquire about the puppies in advance, contact Tina at [email protected]

Pet Pantry is at 290 Railroad Ave in Greenwich. Tel (203) 869-6444.
