In October SPCA Westchester officials observed two Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mixes in distress and displaying severe symptoms of the Distemper Virus while in Ms. Berk’s care. The money raised from Puttin’ on the Dog helps fund rescue transports, emergency medical care and the ongoing operations of the Armonk, NY shelter which typically houses about 30 to 40 dogs every day.
