There will be a Shellfishing demonstration at Greenwich Point on Saturday, November 5.
Join the Town of Greenwich Shellfish Commission from 2:30 until 4:30pm and learn how and where to shellfish for oysters and clams.
Meet volunteers at the parking lot opposite the Innis Arden Cottage at 2:30pm – all ages are welcome.
Dress warmly and wear rubber boots and bring gloves.
The Commission will provide shellfish rakes and buckets.
Licenses/permits are not needed for this demonstration.
