Plan Your Best Party Yet: Greenwich Party Showcase to Spotlight Event Industry Specialists

Looking to plan a party to remember? The 2019 Party Planning Showcase, hosted by Temple Sholom, will help make your party the talk of the town by connecting you with some of the top event specialists in the business.

This annual expo – which is entering its eighth year of production – is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, January 6 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at 300 East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich.

Whether you are preparing for a bar/bat mitzvah, quinceañera, or even a wedding, this showcase offers a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with a variety of party vendors who are both experienced and professional.

“Planning an event that is fun, memorable and unique can be stressful,” said Lori Baden, Temple Sholom’s Associate Executive Director and Party Planning Showcase Organizer. “Our goal is to make the process easier by showing you the latest trends in entertainment, photography, catering, floral design, stationary, favors and giveaways, and more.”

Each year’s showcase also includes a Mitzvah Project Fair to educate bar/bat mitzvah families about meaningful community service efforts that are available locally and abroad.

“Participating in a Mitzvah Project is the beginning of a life-long Jewish commitment to Tikkun Olam, repairing the world,” said Rabbi Mitchell M. Hurvitz. “While we mark the transition from a child to an adult with a service and a celebration, we can also have our kids begin to contribute to the community and the world in a more robust way.”

While admission to the 2019 Party Planning Showcase & Mitzvah Project Fair is free, please register in advance at www.templesholom.com.
