The decades long Sandblast Sand Sculpture Festival took place at Tod’s Point on Saturday and 95 of the 100 participant flags were distributed.
The Dept of Parks & Rec and The Greenwich Arts Council, the event’s co-hosts, couldn’t have asked for better luck with the weather as the rain didn’t start until Meli-Melo gift certificates were distributed to all participants and the tide started to turn.
Sandbast was intended purely for the fun of creativity, and thanks to sponsor Meli-Melo Juice Bar of Greenwich, all participants were winners.
