John O’Brien and his fiancée Courtney Ross-Tait have gone all out to decorate 45 Lockwood Lane for Halloween since the start of the pandemic.
Their first effort was at the beginning of the pandemic, the year Halloween was canceled.
O’Brien said their own young children love the holiday and they made the visit safe for guests with social distancing, a sanitizing station and masking.
This year the couple outdid themselves with a 360° tour around the property featuring spiders, monsters, zombies, witches, werewolves, towering skeletons, and creepy clowns.
According to O’Brien, on Sunday night about 1,500 people had passed through and he anticipated even more on Halloween.
Indeed, the night was punctuated with both laughter and screams as costumed families both local and as far away as Hartford made their way around the property, which featured animatronic scarecrows and zombies who lurched toward the unsuspecting.
There were even some actors in costume who spooked guests as they made their way along the haunted pathway.
Thank you to John and Courtney for the memorable holiday!
