Last Saturday afternoon, six Parkway School students visited The Nathaniel Witherell, the town’s own nursing home, to deliver handmade cards and spread holiday cheer to the residents.

This visit is just one of many activities organized already this year by the Parkway Cares team, led by parent volunteers, Susan Bolin Wright and Stephanie Otero.
Parkway Cares operates throughout the school year to help students engage in service and give back to the community.
Parkway Cares initiatives include a Halloween Candy Drive for Kids in Crisis, a Thanksgiving food drive supporting Neighbor to Neighbor, holiday coat and toy drives, as well as creating Valentine’s cards for veterans.
Through these efforts, Parkway students learn the importance of kindness, empathy, and community connection—values that are at the heart of Parkway School.
