Glenville Volunteer Fire Company to Host 9-11 Ceremony on Monday

The Glenville Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a 9-11 memorial ceremony on Monday, Sept 11 at 7:30pm, at the Glenville Firehouse.

In addition to many Glenville Residents some of the local officials who plan to attend include Peter Tesei, John Toner, Scott Franz, Fred Camillo, Mike Bocchino.

The event will start with a welcome from Sandy Kornberg (President, Glenville Volunteer Fire Company), followed by a Presentation of the Colors, Pledge of Allegiance and Singing of National Anthem, Invocation, and comments from Mike Hoha, District Chief, Glenville Volunteer Fire Company. There will be a presentation of a wreath at the Artifact 9-11 Steel Memorial, which is on permanent display in front of the firehouse.

Greenwich Police Dept Lt Jim Bonney will play the bagpipes.

The event will conclude with a benediction and retreat of the colors.
