Greenwich Hibernians Announce St. Patrick’s Parade Lineup

The Greenwich St. Patrick’s Parade sponsored by the Greenwich Hibernian Association will take place on Sunday, March 23, 2025. This will be the organization’s 49th annual parade.

The parade will be led by Grand Marshal Father Richard Murphy. The Parade will start at Town Hall at 2:00pm with the ceremonial starting whistle. After leaving Town Hall the Parade will head up Field Point Road to US 1 up to the top of Greenwich Avenue then down the length of Greenwich Avenue.

The weather is expected to be perfect for the parade.

There will be four Bagpipe Bands included in the 10 total bands: Greenwich Pipe Band, Fairfield County Police Pipes and Drums, Westchester Firefighters Pipes and Drums, Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band, Port Chester High School Marching Band, Tappan Zee Bridgemen, Nash Drum Corp., Wholly Brass Band, Sound Beach Community Band, and the Connecticut Patriot Fife & Drum Band.

In addition, there will be at least 75 groups of local schools, scouts, fire and police departments and civic organizations marching.

There will be Irish Step Dancers from 2 local schools – Lynn Academy of Irish dance and Harney Pender Keady Academy of Irish Dance.

A number of antique and vintage vehicles will be in the parade including an antique van sponsored by Sam Bridge Nursery.

The ever popular Pyramid Shriners Motor Patrol will perform in their miniature cars.

Marching for the first time this year will be a group made up of members of the Wallace Center (formerly Greenwich Senior Center and members of the Friends of the Wallace Center.

The Greenwich Hibernian Association is very excited to once again share and celebrate its Irish Heritage by sponsoring the Greenwich St. Patrick’s Parade.
