The Rummage Room in Old Greenwich will temporarily close for the summer on August 3. The store will hold its 54th “Grand Re-opening” with all new merchandise on Tuesday September 3, right after Labor Day.
The summer closing allows the volunteers to clean, restock and take well-deserved vacations.

Then it’s “All You Can Jam in a Bag” for $15 Thursday, August 1.
It’s “All You Can Stuff in a Bag” for $10 Friday, August 2
Finally, it’s “All You Can Cram in a Bag” for $2 on Saturday August 3.
The Rummage Room is run by a team of volunteers under the supervision of the Women’s Fellowship of First Congregational Church of Greenwich. All proceeds from the store’s sales are donated to charities that benefit women, children and families, with more than $4 million going to local, national and international organizations over the past 54 years.
Shop hours for the Rummage Room are Monday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm. Donations of gently used clothes and household goods (nothing broken or damaged) are welcome Monday through Thursday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please do not leave donations while the shop is closed as no-one will be there to collect them.
