PHOTOS, VIDEO: Mild Temps Draw Hundreds to New Year’s Day Dip at Greenwich Point

The 2017 New Year’s Day Dip at Tod’s Point benefited from temps in the 40°s and sunny skies. Hundreds turned out for the dip, which took place at 12:00 noon.

The event, which was organized by Angela Swift, a local mom, traithlete and realtor. T-shirts were sold to raise funds for  for Kids in Crisis, Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and educational programs for children and families. The Greenwich Town Party provided hot cocoa and donuts.
