Members of the PepsiCo Control Team recently volunteered their time and skills for PepsiCo’s “Give Back Days” at the YMCA of Greenwich.

As part of the company’s annual program, employees participate in service projects benefiting their local communities.

“We were thrilled and honored to have the PepsiCo volunteers give us their creative and artistic right brain skills and hammer and nail power tool left brain skills to make our Y a better place,” said Bob DeAngelo, YMCA of Greenwich CEO.

DeAngelo handpicked and prepped a variety of wood working and painting projects to enhance the outdoor play area outside the historic building’s Mason Street entrance.

“We’ve enjoyed helping the community and giving our time for a great cause,” said PepsiCo volunteer Meryl Lerner, who helped with the colorful signs displaying inspiring words and the Y logo. “We hope it will be enjoyed by the children and families.”
