In its ongoing efforts to assist local families in need, Funky Monkey Toys & Books will offer shoppers a 20% discount storewide and donate 10% of all sales proceeds to support Community Centers, Inc (CCI) on Wednesday, December 2.
CCI is a Greenwich-based social service agency dedicated to building skills that empower clients to overcome educational, social, and economic barriers. Their mission is to make the enormous natural, educational, cultural, and financial resources that comprise the Greenwich community accessible to all.
“We know the holidays can be a difficult time for families and may be especially stressful this year. Funky Monkey is happy to help by giving back,” said Jared Greenman, owner of Funky Monkey, who noted CCI has been a symbol of hope for Greenwich families for 65 years.
“Come into the store or call us to start your holiday shopping on December 2, knowing that your purchases will help the families who rely on services from Community Centers.”
Gaby Rattner, Executive Director of CCI said her agency was glad Funky Money recognized her agency’s efforts on behalf of the community.
