Community Centers, Inc receives $1,400 donation from Funky Monkey Toys & Books

Community Centers, Inc (CCI) received an early holiday present this week from Funky Monkey Toys & Books.

Last week the local toy store offered shoppers a 20% discount storewide and pledged to donate 10% of all sales proceeds to support CCI. Thanks to shoppers’ generosity, Jared Greenman, owner of the award-winning toy store, has announced a donation of $1,400 to the Greenwich-based social service agency dedicated to building skills that empower clients to overcome educational, social, and economic barriers.

“We are thrilled to be able to support CCI and the community in this meaningful way. Knowing we have made a difference for the families who rely on CCI is the best present of all,” said Greenman.

CCI’s mission is to make the enormous natural, educational, cultural, and financial resources that comprise this incredible community accessible to all.

“CCI is so grateful to Funky Monkey, not just because of the incredible and generous donation of $1,400,” said Gaby Rattner, Executive Director of CCI. “We greatly value our community partnerships and are enormously proud that Funky Monkey recognized our efforts on behalf of the community we share. Thank you to Funky Monkey and all its incredible customers – our friends and neighbors!”
