The 45th annual Greenwich St. Patrick’s Parade sponsored by the Greenwich Hibernian Association took place Sunday, March 24 amid mild spring temps.
The Parade was led by Grand Marshal, Monsignor J. Peter Cullen.
The parade featured five bagpipe bands: Greenwich Pipe Band, Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band, Fairfield County Police Pipes and Drums and Westchester County Firefighters and the Iona College Pipe Band, in addition to the Port Chester High School Marching Band, Tappan Zee Bridgemen, the Nash Drum Corp and The Wholly Brass band.

Among the favorite parts of the parade were the Shriners wearing their fezzes, squeezed into tiny red cars.
There were about 40 community organizations, schools, police and fire departments participating including three Irish Dance groups.
