The unveiling took place in the hospital’s community garden as employees, hospital leaders and community partners looked on.

The mural – created by professional artist, Rick Garcia – was first unveiled at the 13th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Workshop last December at Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses.

The mural was signed by hundreds of people with notes expressing their gratitude to hospital staff who worked tirelessly during the pandemic.

Diane Kelly, GH president, said staff had “courageously and compassionately cared for our patients and families and greatly deserve this wonderful recognition.”
