There were no shortages of dogs at Sunday’s Puttin’ On The Dog event at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, sponsored by Adopt-A-Dog. The following pups and dogs were on hand hoping to win the hearts of potential guardians…like you!
If you have room in your heart and home to make one of these dogs part of your family, please contact Adopt-A-Dog: 914-273-1674 or 203-629-9494 or email: [email protected]
Norma Jean was originally purchased from an English Bulldog breeder. The person who took her home found out the landlord did not allow dogs. Norma Jean was taken to a shelter…and now she needs a real home.
Harry is a good lookin’, small dog with lots of heart! He is alert and playful. Harry has an injury on one of his hind legs, but other than that…he’s good to go!
Kara was one of the smartest dogs up for adoption yesterday. She has lots of energy. She loves ‘toys’ and she gets on very well with other dogs. Kara is lots of fun!
Emmie Lou is a regal gal with Rhodesian Ridgeback genes. She has ‘good manners’ and this photo does not do her justice. Emmie Lou is one beautiful dog! Her partner is Pyp, a hound/pit mix. He’s just 2 years old and very friendly. He loves other dogs and we think he loves Emmie Lou as well.

Flower is just 3 years old. Flower is deaf. She would love to have a place of her own with a family or guardian who could provide a loving, safe home.
Windy (sitting) and Claire are just 4 months old. Honestly, these two are so well-behaved and awesome! They were parked on their blanket and just enjoyed everyone who came by to say hello. Each has a beautiful, healthy black coat.
I got up close and personal with each and every one of these dogs. They are all sweet in their own way. The only thing they need…is you.
