The Town of Greenwich Dept of Public Works, Highway Division, anticipates to commence the annual Summer Paving Program on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Work will move west to east across town, starting in Byram and ending in Old Greenwich.
The program consists of milling (the process of grinding off the top layer of asphalt or surface in preparation for paving) and asphalt paving.
Police officers or flaggers will be posted at the work zones to help direct vehicular traffic and pedestrians. The public is reminded to stay alert, slow down, and select alternative routes.
Please use extra caution as you drive through work zones. Short term delays may occur; please consider alternate routes when possible.
