IN Greenwich March Madness Tournament to Benefit Ukraine

This year’s IN Greenwich March Madness contest includes a suggested donation of $20 per bracket towards a gofundme campaign that helps provide direct funds to the people in Ukraine to purchase food, medical care, and emergency support services needed. Christ Church Seeks Volunteers for Emergency “Packathon” for Ukraine Refugees

Christ Church Greenwich is organizing an Emergency “Packathon” to provide 36,000+ packages of nutritional meals for Ukrainian refugees on the border of Poland. The Packathon is set for Saturday, March 26, 10:00 am. Photo courtesy Bobbi Eggers

A Packathon is a group food packing event. All ages are welcome to help. During a two-and-a-half-hour shift, teams of volunteers assemble four complete nutritious ingredients: a carbohydrate, dehydrated vegetables, vitamin powder and a bean protein. Continue Reading →
