The National Football League’s Executive Vice President of Communications and Class of 1975 Greenwich High School (GHS) graduate Paul Hicks has been selected by the GHS Class of 2014 as the commencement speaker for the June 19, 2014 graduation ceremony.
The ceremony will be held at 6:30pm* at Greenwich High School’s Cardinal Stadium.
GHS Senior Class President Henry Ricciardi said, “Mr. Hicks’ long history with Greenwich High School, his record of accomplishment in public service and the private sector, and his message to the student
body were all important factors in the decision. I am confident he will convey the many ways GHS gives its students advantages in life after high school, and how that has impacted his own life.”
GHS Headmaster Chris Winters said, “I’m very excited about the selection of Mr. Paul Hicks to be the speaker at Graduation. I observed the selection process and know that our class leaders led a thorough
search and considered all candidates. Paul is a shining example of someone who benefited from GHS as a student, whose children attended GHS, and who has gone on to accomplish a great deal both
professionally and in his community. I am confident that his message will resonate with our graduates.”
