Suspected Heroin Dealer Found with Bundles of Heroin

Greenwich Police announced the arrest of a suspected drug dealer selling heroin/fentanyl to people in Greenwich.

Around 9:30am on Monday, Feb 3, the suspected drug dealer had just purchased two ‘bundles’ of suspected heroin in Stamford, and was on his way to make a delivery in Connecticut when they stopped his car at a Burger King in Stamford.

Greenwich Police Narcotics Section had been conducting surveillance and a MO, and developed Alain Bernadel, 41, of Eunice Park, Stratford, CT, as a suspect.

Bernadel was charged with Illegal Possession of Narcotics, Criminal Attempt at Sale of Narcotics and Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell.

Bernadel was released on a written promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court where he is due to appear on February 19, 2020.
