Post-Thanksgiving Sibling Dispute in Back Country Results in Arrest

The day after Thanksgiving a 23-year-old man was arrested at his home and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Restraint after an argument with his sister in their back country home. The sibling dispute took place at 8:45pm.

According to Greenwich Police, scene investigation determined that the brother had physically prevented his sister from leaving a room and prevented her from leaving a door and restraining her by the arm.

In a report marked Domestic Violence, the police reported that the 23-year-old was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Restraint in the 2nd degree.

He was released on a $1,000 cash bond and assigned a Family Violence Court Date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 1, 2014.
