Police Stop Car with No Headlights, Find Edible Marijuana

At about 2:00am on New Year’s Day, Greenwich Police pulled over a car that was traveling without its headlights illuminated in the area of 1700 East Putnam Avenue.

During the motor vehicle stop, police detected the odor of marijuana and then spotted edible marijuana, which they noticed because of its familiar packaging.

The driver acknowledged the pot brownie, but said he’d forgotten he had it.

The incident, which was logged in as a drug laws violation, resulted in an infraction for the driver, who was in possession of marijuana.
