PHOTOS: Newly Sworn in Officers Include Multiple Greenwich Natives

On Monday morning five new officers were sworn in to the Greenwich Police Dept in a ceremony at town hall.

Among the five was William O’Connor whose family has a long history of service to the town.

His mother Mary Ann is a nurse at Greenwich High School.

She met William’s father Michael O’Connor – now a Sergeant in the Greenwich Police Marine Section – when they were both volunteers with the Cos Cob volunteer department in 1984.

Michael (senior) is a Sergeant in the police force and William’s brothers Patrick and Michael are also members of the force.

Michael was sworn in at Greenwich Town Hall in 2014 and Patrick O’Connor was sworn in in 2016.

William grew up in Greenwich and graduated from Greenwich High School in 2011. He then graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2015 with a degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice.

Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police Officer he was a police officer in Old Saybrook since 2015. He is certified EMR. Before working in Old Saybrook, he worked at Securitas Security Services, Innis Arden Golf Club, Equinox Fitnexx Club, The Mory’s Association and at Bruce Park Sports.

Allen Arrington III grew up in Yonkers,NY and graduated from Morrisville State College with an Associates Degree in Sports Nutrition/Fitness Management.

Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police Officer, he served with the New York City Dept of Correction as a Correction Officer. Prior to that he worked at Fitness Together as a Master Trainer, and Kato’s Global Fitness as a Manager. He is certified in CPR/AED and is a NYS Peace Officer. He is also a New York City Dept of Correction Squad Leader.

Erica Rosario resides in Rockville Centre, NY. She received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from LaGuardia Community College in 2015 and is currently attending Ashworth College majoring in Early Childhood Education.

Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police officer she worked as a medical assistant at All Island Podiatry. Prior to that she was employed at MJM Designer Shoes as a sales associate.

She has been a member of the NPD Auxiliary for the past five years and is a recipient of the NYPD Auxiliary Officer of the Year award.

Christopher Manjuck

Christopher Manjuck grew up in Pound Ridge, NY and graduated from Castleton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication in 2017. Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police Officer,he was a Crisis Recovery Specialist for Rutland Mental Health Community Care Network.

He is certified in SPR/AED and “Solo” Advanced Wilderness First Responder.

His father is retired Police Officer Andrew Roy Manjuck, Jr of the Greenwich Police Dept.

Kevin Ingraham grew up in Greenwich and graduated GHS in 2012. He attended Norwalk Community College and the University of Connecticut, majoring in Business Administration.

Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police Officer he worked with his father and brother at Bill’s Chimney and Fire Place and also at the Sportsman’s Den.

Kevin is a volunteer lieutenant for the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company and is certified in Fire 1 & 2, CPR, Q Driving Endorsement, Hazmat and Hazmat awareness. He was the 2017 Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company Fire Fighter of the Year.

His father is Lt Bill Ingraham of the Greenwich Fire Dept.
