Christopher W. Pozzi was arrested after being observed speeding and drifting left over the double yellow line while traveling northbound North Street at about 1:30am on Saturday.
According to Greenwich Police, Mr. Pozzi, 34, of 46 Windmill Rd in Armonk, driving a white Volkswagen Jetta, was observed to drift over the double yellow before abruptly changing course into the correct lane multiple times.
Pozzi failed to perform a series of standardized field sobriety tests to standard.
After initiating a motor vehicle stop, police detected the distinct odor associated with the consumption of alcoholic beverages upon Mr. Pozzi’s. He was charged with Traveling Unreasonably Fast, Operation While Under The Influence, and Failure To Drive Right
He posted his bond of $250 and was released from custody at 3:15am. He has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on April 18, 2016.
