On Dec 19 Greenwich Police responded to Riverside Commons on a report of two men having a fight.
After on scene investigation police determined that Dane Kurt Fender of Garnerville, NY had pushed his way past a pregnant woman in order to tackle a man to the ground and punch him in the head.
The assault was witnessed by a juvenile.
Fender was charged with Assault 3, Breach of Peace 2 and Risk of Injury to a Child.
He was able to post the required 10% of his $2,500 bond, and was released.
He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 21, 2020.
