Kathleen Warner, 62, of 36 Putnam Green was arrested on Saturday and charged with Interfering with an Officer after a person reported missing was found hiding within her residence.
According to Greenwich Police multiple police units were actively searching for a missing person on the west side of town on Saturday.
It was determined that the missing person may have been with an acquaintance who resides in Putnam Green.
After speaking with Ms Warner, who denied having knowledge of the missing person’s whereabouts, police say she fabricated a story to mislead police.
The missing person was later found hiding within Warner’s residence.
Warner was arrested and charged with Interfering with an Officer. She was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 26, 2016.
