Greenwich Man Charged with Failure to Appear for April DUI

Greenwich Police HQ, Bruce Place - Greenwich Free PressKenny S Saavedra-Muriel, 23, of 238 Hamilton Avenue in Greenwich was arrested on Oct 22 for failing to appear in court following an April 18 arrest for hitting a parked car on Delavan Ave.

According to Greenwich Police Mr. Saavedra-Muriel surrendered at police headquarters and was arrested after being advised of a warrant for his arrest.

He was charged with Failure to Appear 2nd degree, posted his bond of $750 and was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 7.

Back on April 18, a 1997 Ford F150 pickup truck struck a parked car on Delavan Ave around 5:30am. The driver, Mr. Saavedra-Muriel, failed Field Sobriety Tests, and was charged with Driving with a Suspended License, DUI, and Failure to Drive in Proper lane.
