The investigation of the crash at the Thruway Shopping Center is still underway.
Earlier this week Greenwich Police said the CT Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the driver who lost his life in the crash was Devon Dalio.
Greenwich Police say numerous witness have been identified, and that investigators are still in the process of completing some interviews.
Evidence from the crash continues to be collected and analyzed with some results still pending.
“This investigation has many components and the Greenwich Police Department wants to ensure all avenues are appropriately assessed and its findings are properly documented,” Captain Zuccerella said in a statement.
The Greenwich Police Dept is in contact with the Medical Examiner and they are currently waiting for official results.
Police are also working with the Greenwich Fire Marshall’s office regarding the cause and origin of the fire.
