UPDATE: Elderly Greenwich Woman Reported Missing Safely Located

Update: Greenwich Police Tweeted around7:45pm that Catherine Hogan has been safely located. According to Lt Slusarz, Mrs. Hogan was located Thursday evening at a business in Yonkers and had since returned home.

“We are relieved to hear that Katherine Hogan arrived safely at her Greenwich home yesterday,” said Christopher Barstein, executive director, Edgehill Retirement Community. “It is unfortunate and frightening when these types of situations happen in the community. Our staff at Edgehill is well trained and prepared for cases like these, if our residents were to end up in these types of situations.”


Original Story: Catherine Hogan, 90, of Greenwich was reported missing on Thursday by family members after she did not return from shopping. According to Police she was last seen wearing a dark colored pantsuit.

She left her home in Old Greenwich around 9:00am to go to CVS in Riverside but never showed up at Edge Hill Retirement Community at 11:00am, which is not her typical behavior.

Her husband relates that she is forgetful, though she has not been diagnosed with any illness, and this has happened before.

In the past she has not left the confines of Greenwich.

A Silver Alert has been issued.

Mrs. Hogan is 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 130 lbs.

She has white hair and was last seen operating a Red Toyota Camry with CT registration 954-DRA.
