Driver Who Crashed into 4 Parked Cars in Byram Had No Driver’s License

On Friday, July 26 a driver crashed into four parked cars on Mead Ave in the area of Division Street in Byram.

The incident took place around 9:00pm and several Byram residents shared photos of the badly damaged cars.

On Monday, Greenwich Police named the driver as Victor A Lojano-Cabrera, 29, of Mahopac, NY, and said that when they arrived at the scene in Byram last Friday night, officers located his vehicle in the roadway where it was disabled, but running after he collided with the four parked cars.

Further they said the accused had exited the vehicle and had started to walk away. He was located by residents and police and returned to the scene of the crash.

Upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Lojano-Cabrera did not have a driver’s license and that he was exhibiting signs of impairment.

Lojano-Cabrera was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and was arrested.

He was charged with Evading Responsibility/Property Damage, DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper lane and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License.

Lojano-Cabrera was able to post the required 7% of his $2,000 bond and was released.

He is due in Stamford Superior Court on August 9, 2024.
