Oceans 180 will return with a vast variety of fresh seafood from Connecticut shores. Check out our interview with Oceans 180’s Jardar Nygaard, from last summer. Also, there are new vendors including New Petal Flower Farm out of Monroe, CT and Biscuits and Bones, who offer all natural dog food and dog treats.
The event runs 10:00am to 2:00pm in “Police Alley,” at 11 Bruce Place.

The YMCA of Greenwich welcomed more than 450 attendees to its annual Healthy Kids Day, marking the largest turnout in the event’s history. YMCA staff members hosted a wide variety of activities throughout the building, including:

• Push-up and squat contests
• Water safety games

The Emily Catherine Fedorko Foundation’s (ECFF) first “Swap Your Life Jackets for Emily” event was held on May 22 at the Innis Arden Cottage at Tod’s Point, kicking off National Safe Boating Week in Greenwich. Over 175 new coast guard approved ECFF vests were swapped and given out to boat owners, water sports enthusiasts and the Greenwich Police Marine Division. The older, swapped life jackets were collected by Sea Tow to be recycled into new vests.
