Greenwich Police Department Opens Its Doors for Community-Focused Police Day 2026

Throughout the day, officers showcased specialized units including the SWAT team, dive team, and the department drone program. Police vehicles and equipment were displayed outside headquarters as children and families had the opportunity to speak directly with officers about their roles and training.

Owner of Connecticut Strip Club Pleads Guilty

The club operator pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to use an interstate facility to promote or facilitate prostitution, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years; one count of conspiracy to defraud the IRS, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years; one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years; and two counts of engaging in a monetary transaction in property derived from unlawful activity, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years on each count.
