Eversource spokesman Frank Poirot said that any revisions to the Greenwich sub station proposal go through the Connecticut Siting Council. Greenwich Boy Scouts Trek 144 miles in New Mexico Wilderness over 12 Days

Boy Scouts from local Greenwich Troops 35, 10 and 5 went to New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Cimarron where they hiked 144 miles 12 days. The crew leader was Eagle Scout Will Freder from Troop 35 who will be a senior at Greenwich High School in the fall. Other crew members included, Elias Boyer, James Gordon, Jamie Heavey, Luke Kaiser, Carlos Maldonado Jr., TJ Peck, Nico Matejak and Eric Parker.

Joe Kaliko of Needs Clearing House and Joe Marini, the Joe behind Chicken Joe’s, headed to Bridgeport this week with a summer treat for Disability Resource Network in Bridgeport. The organization serves people suffering from cerebral palsy, brain and spinal injuries resulting from accidents, and other trauma.
