The Greenwich girls track team had some amazing success at the CIAC State Open meet on Saturday, one of the most important meets of the season, which has been one of their most memorable performances. The team placed 8th overall out of 147 high schools in Connecticut.

Starting off with the 4x800m team, Gemma Hardwick, Lauren Resnick, Ellie Daplyn and Kate Friedman placed 4th, qualifying them for the New England Championship. The top 6 teams in each event qualify.
